About Wendel Consulting
Wendel Consulting was started in 2015 by Glenn R. Wendel, P.E., after 37 years working as an engineer for Deere and Co. and then for Southwest Research Institute. Through this experience an extensive amount of practical knowledge has been accumulated that can be applied to the design and development of mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical components and systems, as well as their control. Wendel Consulting offers common sense and creative solutions to problems by applying practical experience, graduate engineering knowledge, analytical tools, and advanced technologies. These are applied to various industries including automotive, off-highway agricultural and construction equipment, aerospace, military, oil and gas, as well as medical. Services range from troubleshooting and analyzing existing products to working with the customer on the design and development of products from the concept stage all the way through prototype fabrication and production.
